Extremely sad sale of our super lovable pony – Roscoe. We have owned Roscoe since Autumn 2022, and he has brought my very nervous daughter on from jumping 45 cm to 70 cm, both SJ and XC. He jumped 80 cm + with previous owns (see photo). He is a very safe and has done everything asked, he is a very active Pony Club all rounder, having attended numerous rallies, Pony Club camp, and competed in tetrathlons, hunter trailers, ODE, SJ and Pony Club fun shows etc etc. Roscoe is good to hack, and would like to do more, he can be a bit bouncy on a group ride but settles once he gets going. He schools nicely and will collect up if asked. He is affectionate and lovable, with a big personality, and a large fan club! He is good to deal with, and loves been fussed over by my daughter. He is good to shoe, clip (apart from his ears) and loads well into both trailers and lorries. He lived out all winter. Looking for his next 5* home, he would make a super family pony, but needs to be ridden regularly. He comes with a full wardrobe of rugs, and bridle (we would like to keep his saddle, but happy to lend it until you get him a new one). I'd like something bigger that's the only reason he's available. 🐴An absolute gentleman of a pony, gives you his heart and soul with everything you ask of him. Will excel in the right hands, hes such an easy pony so will home produce. He was sent away and professionally broken as a 4 year old, and then ridden by myself, hes been shown by a child and was perfect for her but no novice riders or beginners, that being said he never does anything naughty. He's been ridden by a few different children recently and been perfect. ✨️Perfect to get ready for a show, load, travel stand on the box, has stayed over and settles no problem, never has plugs in and doesn't need much working in. 🎖Won overall novices last year locally, placed every time, went to Arena UK last year and won his classes at the Master Championships. Also did a few agricultural shows. GENUINE SCHOOLMISTRESS 148 JA PONY Grey Connemara 12 yrs old Silva has taken my daughter from jumping 70cms to now jumping 1.10m+ Bronze League finalist in 2022 (placed 6th in UK) Highest Points scored, winning the Bronze League (Wales) 1st April - 30 September 2023 However, since Summer 2023, my daughter has had a huge growth spurt and is now too big and too tall for this pony and the mare just doesn't like it. We have to admit that Silva needs a smaller jockey. ********* UPDATED: Silva was ridden by a smaller rider at the recent April Mixed British Show-Jumping show at the David Broome Event Centre, and was back to her best - 4 x double clears at 75 and 80cm and in the placings each time - 2 x 1st (75 Open) and 2 x 4th (80 Open). ******** Being a schoolmistress, the pony likes to 'nanny' her rider, look after them and show them the ropes. We have mainly concentrated on show-jumping and she will jump 70 - 1m all day, every day, and very capable at 1.10m. We have also taken part in lots of Junior Academy events. Silva is forward going but not spooky - happily canters over the wooden bridge in the Derby classes at Wales and West (David Broome Event Centre) She is a great all-rounder, lovely to hack. Good on the ground. Excellent to load (both trailer and lorry), clip and shoe. Teeth done September 2023. Jinx is a lovely pony, he adores children and fuss. He’s a great hack, and happy in the arena and open fields too. He walk, trots canters, and pops a jump. He’s a lovely smooth canter, as he’s not wide shouldered. We bought him to get him back into work over the winter (he’d previously driven) and to keep my children busy (they are 8 and 11). He’s good to do in all ways, and upto date with vaccinations / teeth / passport etc. he has an amazing mane and tail! He’s a lovely pony, he’s still a bit green, so wouldn’t suit a first ridden off lead in the arena just yet (he wouldn’t do anything wrong, just needs more support from someone more experienced) but would happily teach someone to ride with a more experienced helper.

12.2 7 year old cob gelding for sale. Very sadly our pony is looking for a new home because my daughter has lost interest. We’ve had him for two years and would not be selling him at all if she still wanted to ride or he was big enough for me. He is the perfect pony for a young rider to go out and have fun on. He is very safe to hack and loves to be out, he’s unfazed by any vehicle, dog walkers and farm animals. My daughter has weekly lessons and monthly pole/jump clinics on him which he loves. He loads very well, first time everytime on either a trailer or lorry. Really good boy for the farrier (barefoot) and to clip. Slight fidget to bath. He does prefer to live out and lives out 24/7 with us. He’s quite grumpy around his dinner but as long as he’s left alone to eat in peace he’s fine. He will come with tack and rugs. I am so sad to be selling him but he’s too good to be left in a field, he deserves to be taken out and enjoyed. Any questions or more information please ask.
