Sadly outgrown. We have had her three years and she's taught my daughter loads. Not a first pony, can be nappy in school but nothing major. Absolute saint to hack bomb proof and traffic proof. She also went on to complete ridden grading as a 5 year old and scored a 10 for her canter. Kiki has fantastic paces with plenty of lift and power. She has competed in some unaffiliated dressage at intor/prelim. She absolutely loves to jump and is happily popping around a course of 1.05m fences at home and popping single fences of 1.20m. She has been out to clear round and jumped clear around 90cm. She would be ready to go out and jump easily round a British Novice and progress very quickly this year. We believe she would also be very bold XC She is typical of this breeding and needs a sympathetic rider to get the best out of her. She loves her work and thrives off consistency and routine to get the best results. Kiki's lack of experience is not her fault or a reflection on her ability, current owner is over horsed and has done very little with her. Up to date with vaccines physio and teeth, we've had x-rays done February 24 on stifles and hocks which are available to view as the physio recommended we do so, very minimal change in one hock and one stifle which vet recommended him be put on joint supplement which we have done, but very normal changes for a Connie of his age. His price reflects these changes as my clients paid much more for him than he is advertised. He is staying with me to be sold on behalf of his owners and is only for sale due to lack of time due to other sports and they feel he is being wasted with them. Herbie is looking for his new home as he has sadly been outgrown. He is 13.2hh 12 year old chestnut Welsh gelding. We have had the pleasure of owning him for 2.5/3 years and in that time he has given my daughter so much confidence and fun. He absolutely loves to jump and is quick and careful. They have done many local competitions coming home with rosettes. Their highlight was qualifying for and competing in the 3 day Show Jumping Championships of Great Britain at The David Broome Centre placing in many classes! Usually competes around 70-80cm but has jumped up to 1m at home in training. He can also do a great dressage test and has been in the rosettes with scores of up to 72% at local competitions. He has done cross country training proving to always sensible and brave to the jumps. He is great to hack alone or in company and does not get fizzy in open spaces. He does not need riding every day, can be left a week or more and good to just get on and go. He’s more of a second pony type, is forward going, but sensible and safe, ridden in a snaffle for all disciplines. Great to load on trailers and lorries and travels well alone or with company. Currently living out but is also happy stabled. Can be turned out alone or in company. He does windsuck straight after food or treats but not all the time and this hasn’t ever adversely affected him. He has some nerve sensitivity on his withers so it is best not to rug him as can make him sore but otherwise doesn’t affect him or affect riding. I will discuss all this in full to anyone who is seriously interested in him and I am happy for my vets to discuss his full medical history with you or your vet. Plenty of videos on request. GENUINE SCHOOLMISTRESS 148 JA PONY Grey Connemara 12 yrs old Silva has taken my daughter from jumping 70cms to now jumping 1.10m+ Bronze League finalist in 2022 (placed 6th in UK) Highest Points scored, winning the Bronze League (Wales) 1st April - 30 September 2023 However, since Summer 2023, my daughter has had a huge growth spurt and is now too big and too tall for this pony and the mare just doesn't like it. We have to admit that Silva needs a smaller jockey. ********* UPDATED: Silva was ridden by a smaller rider at the recent April Mixed British Show-Jumping show at the David Broome Event Centre, and was back to her best - 4 x double clears at 75 and 80cm and in the placings each time - 2 x 1st (75 Open) and 2 x 4th (80 Open). ******** Being a schoolmistress, the pony likes to 'nanny' her rider, look after them and show them the ropes. We have mainly concentrated on show-jumping and she will jump 70 - 1m all day, every day, and very capable at 1.10m. We have also taken part in lots of Junior Academy events. Silva is forward going but not spooky - happily canters over the wooden bridge in the Derby classes at Wales and West (David Broome Event Centre) She is a great all-rounder, lovely to hack. Good on the ground. Excellent to load (both trailer and lorry), clip and shoe. Teeth done September 2023.
