SMOKEY
Beautiful 2011 Irish grey gelding (green book with fabulous breeding) standing at 16.3hh. Smokey is an experienced allrounder / schoolmaster and would make an excellent riding club / competition / family horse with his super attitude and willingness to please.
He’s done a bit of everything, including hunting and never says no to anything, a genuine horse with a lot to give. Smokey is a kind chap on the ground, friendly and mannerly and super easy to have in the yard.
He has three lovely rideable and adjustable paces on the flat and is snaffle mouthed. He will jump off any stride and is forgiving to a fence, doesn’t mind if you get it wrong and has jumped plenty of rounds so offers an experienced ride, he’s as bold cross country as he is showjumping and is happy to show someone the ropes.

Cassie is a Beautiful example of traditional Irish Draught breeding with loads of bone.
She has been a very easy and Prolific brood mare having had 8 lovely foals, among them being the extremely quiet natured Irish Draught stallion Hayestown Blue Castana who has passed on her wonderful temperament to well over 20 foals bred by him at the stud, and 2 at Underhill.
She is deliberately having a break from breeding and is remembering her old skills being ridden around the farm here, having come back under saddle with ease after all these years.
We are now looking for a more pampered lifestyle for her, the home is very important, and she would enjoy a place where she could hack alone or in company and do the odd fun ride for a doting owner who needs a horse they can just ride when they feel like it, and spend enjoyable time with on the ground. Flashy 2011 Coloured gelding standing at 14.2hh, this lovely lad has so much experience to offer to anyone learning the ropes or someone just looking for a ‘get on and go’ ride. Murphy has been there, done it and won it! He has plenty of showjumping, dressage and cross country under his belt, loads of scope and a completely confidence giving ride in every way.
He offers a safe, comfortable and easy ride, always looking after his rider. He is good enough to do an RDA/ riding school job, go pony club / hunting, compete and do well, or be a grannys happy hacker, one of the most versatile cobs we have had in the yard, he is as bold as they come, not looky or spooky, doesn’t really care about anything as is super easy going and chilled. Murphy will hack for hours alone and in company, he isn’t bothered by farm vehicles, fast traffic or anything else! He really is a super cob in every single way.
Murphy is totally trustworthy on the ground, he has had junior riders, and nervous riders and handlers too.

Lovely 16.2 5yo mare who ran twice in P2Ps and has now started her reschooling, she is a brave and scopey individual with a brilliant attitude to work. Shes very willing to please and would excel in any sphere although I think an eventing / hunting home would best suit her.

Her sire Pennineview Silver Concorde is an Advance and 4* international eventer, carrying the famous Dutch bloodlines and jumping lines of Concorde(1.60m) and Ramiro Z.
Her dam The Bees Knees is also a 3* international eventer with a solid record of double clears at Intermediate/3*International level and is from the same dynasty as Nicola Wilson’s 2012 Olympic eventing medal winner Opposition Buzz.
Her grand sire Fulton, a Belgian Warmblood is a sire of Advance eventers and Inter II dressage horses. She is also full sister to 2* Pennineview Bee Spritely who is already progressing well in the eventing field.
She has been a great mother to two foals, taking with AI first time and having both of her foals unaided in the field. She was an absolute dream to take out to British Breeding Futurity with her 2 month old foal last year and the judges specifically commented on how confident and calm they both were. The foal in the photos was out of Silver Linings St George and we still have her.
She had a couple of field accidents as a filly which has limited her progress in ridden work, although she has very correct paces and jumped better than her 2* eventer brother.
We bought her last year as a companion to our own brood mare with a view to getting her back into light ridden work after having her foal.
My circumstances have since changed and I no longer have the time or the support to get her back into ridden work. I am looking for a home that will value her great motherhood skills or take her on as a project.

Classy 2017 blue and white Irish gelding standing at a full up 15hh, he’s a beautiful model and a lovely stamp. This lovely little horse is an out and out confidence giver, he jumps for fun and is such an easy ride.
He has three comfortable paces on the flat, balanced and correct, and would do a nice test. He jumps just about anything and isn’t bothered if it’s rustic or colourful, he is well hunted and knows this job inside out, a total professional over a ditch, with that being said he’s a lovely lad and would gladly hack out and enjoy the countryside with someone nervous. He is so reliable hacking and will happily go out on his own or with others, isn’t looky or spooky and will take on any traffic, a real mannerly little horse, a head turner and a kind character to have around.
