BEAR Outstanding 2018 Irish bay gelding standing at 17hh. This beautiful boy has it all, an absolute class model, with a lovely step, endless scope and plenty of hunting experience. Bear has hunted in Ireland with the Leitrim and Sligo Harriers, he’s been used as a whips horse but is also well hunted in the field. This lad will cross any country, any hedge, wall ditch or rail, he’s got it covered. Despite being exceptionally talented jumping, Bear is a very easy ride and makes everything feel like light work. He’s got three comfortable paces on the flat, a lovely soft snaffle mouth and he will ride off your voice. Bear is as bold with coloured fillers as he is rustic, he’s careful, will go off any stride and doesn’t mind if you miss him or get it wrong, he is extremely confidence giving over fences and jumps for fun. Been to many arena hires and xc schooling taking everything in his stride. Attended several dressage competitions being placed 1st & 2nd with scores of 70% plus. Hunted this season by mother & son, proving mannerly at the meet, jumping hedges and rails with teenage son and completed gate shutting duties with mother. Attended numerous rallies/lessons with different members of the family. Gone to PC camp last year and done several NSEA competitions. Hacks alone and in company, great in traffic & open spaces. Dolly 13.3/14hh 10 year old blagdon cob mare Dolly is a firm yard favourite, tries her absolute best at all times and is looking for a rider who loves the job as much as she does. Ideal for a smaller adult/balsy kids who loves jumping hunting hacking just generally having fun. Dolly never bucks rears naps ect but she is a forward going ride, never unsafe at any time she is just a cob with a job. She will literally jump the moon if you asked her to, brave as a lion out cross country she will jump the biggest jump you can find in the course or she’s happy to pop a smaller jump whilst you get to know her. Recently been showjumping and she was 5th in the 70cm and 6th in the 80cm in two competitive classes of nearly 30 people in each . She definitely has scope to go higher to as she absolutely bossed it however this was our first time at a show with her so we just picked a comfortable height . Hacks on her own or in company and is Brillant in heavy traffic Novice friends have also hacked her out and she was good as gold Can live in or out with mares or geldings No health issues Perfect to load travel clip catch, stands on the lorry all day whilst your out with no issues Only “vice” sometimes we do twitch her to shoe, she will stand without a twitch but she is a little bit iffy with the farrier so is just easier for us to twitch her and then she stands on her own like a dream This would be easily worked through tho and she is so brilliant in every other way we accept this .
