Description

Gorgeous bay rising 4 year old gelding. Lovely, friendly temperament. Used to living out in a group and gets on very well with other horses. Standing just over 16hh at the moment. I expect him to make around 16.2hh

He has very impressive bloodlines and would suit either an amateur or professional. He is good with the farrier and is vaccinated for flu and tetanus and up to date with worming. He leads and loads well into a trailer.

SIRE
Bretton Woods won the Bronze Medal at the World Championships of five-year-old dressage horses. Prior to that, he confidently won the 50-day test of the KWPN as well as the VSN Trophy in the Netherlands, where he was awarded a 10,0 for his rideability. Ridden by Matthias Alexander Rath, Bretton Woods has reached Grand Prix level. From his first crop of foals, several of his sons have been licensed, including champion and premium stallions. His daughter Great Lady TC was Vice-Champion at the four-year old Pavo-Cup in the Netherlands.

Bretton Woods’ sire Johnson was the champion of his KWPN licensing in 2005 and participant in the finals of the World Championships of Dressage Horses in 2007. Internationally he is very successful in dressage with Hans Peter Minderhoud, competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics. His dam Annabel, bred to Jazz, produced the licensed stallion Chagall and has for years been one of the most highly ranked mares in KWPN breeding. With the highly significant black sire De Niro, who is currently in first place of the WBFSH ranking of all dressage sires and the highly appreciated Romancier, who is dam sire to Fürst Romancier, the genetics of the dam side are highly secured.

DAM
Russian Roulette is by the 2001 British Warm Blood Society Champion stallion Rosenburg. Rosenburg is by the dressage sensation Rohdiamant, considered by many to be the best son of the legendary Rubinstein. On the basis of numerous licensed sons (42), Champion and Reserve Champion stallions, State Premium and Brilliantring mares, top auction horses and Bundeschampions, Rohdiamant can be designated a trademark stallion. To his off-spring he passes on his type, radiance, rideability and above all his enormous movement dynamics. Roulette's dam, Japonia, is a Swedish bred Oldenburg by Pik Trumpf, half sister to Pastiche, the Dam of Donnersong. Her grandsire is the outstanding Celle State stallion Pik Konig who also sired the Dressage legend, Pik Bube. The family connections are impressive.

In 2017 one of Roulettes first foals, Sir Rosenburg by San Amour, won his young horse class qualifying for the Semi finals on a score of 80.8%. He qualified for two Regional Finals and subsequently qualified for the British Dressage National Championships.

He was originally priced at £7,500 but has been substantially reduced to £5,400 for a quick sale. He has a splint which does not affect him other than cosmetically. I have a vet report and x-ray of it. He is fully open to vetting.
