Mickey’s first love is out hacking, he would be happy out for hours doing this and not spooky. Loves a good run around the gallops too. He is also fabulous on lead rein and would happily stand and be pampered all day. Mickey had not done any arena work before we had him, it was all open field schooling, so we have had to work with him to do this. He can sometimes try to refuse going into the arena, but once in he will happily do flatwork, poles and pop a couple of small jumps.
Other than this he really has no vices, great with vet, farrier (no shoes at present), loading.
He would be a solid little pony for a family of a smaller adult or child who just want to hack, have a wee go with him doing basic arena work and if some younger kids in the family too, then great to use him on lead rein too.
We are in no rush to sell…a great home is more important! All vaccines, worming etc up to date and happy for any vetting.
