Can be strong but up until his last run has always been ridden in a snaffle. A bit change xc in his last run proved to be a game changer and this will allow him to be a lot quicker across country and subsequently even more competitive. Hacks alone and in company, good in traffic. Prefers being upfront. He would not be suitable for a home that wants to hunt. He is good to shoe, box, catch, clip. All history known from 5 years old, retired sound from racing and has been quietly retrained since 8yrs old. He is a forward thinking horse and will be fresh if not taken out regularly and in his first run of the season, for this reason he is not suitable for an inexperienced rider. THUNDER Striking black super cob standing at a full up 16hh. This 2020 gelding has plenty to offer! He’s very much an old head on young shoulders and is one of the easiest, safest cobs to come through the yard. Thunder is a gentleman to have around, he is kind, laid back and affectionate, a very chilled horse in the yard and paddock. Three extremely comfortable paces, snaffle mouthed and will ride completely off your voice, doesn’t mind if you get unbalanced, wobbly or worried, he will take care of you. Dun gelding, 15 years old, SJ schoolmaster and fabulous all-rounder. We have owned Rebel for 2 years and in that time my daughter has showjumped 70-90cm at Pony BS, NSEA and Pony Club. He has taken part in PC camp, pairs hunter trials and arena eventing. Rebel is established on the flat and schools beautifully - he would do a lovely dressage test if his current jockey was more motivated in this area! Excellent in open spaces, very easy to do - good to load, clip, shoe, groom, needs a bit of food to catch. A much adored family member that my daughter has handled on her own almost from day one. He is still learning new surroundings can sometimes be wary at very close large traffic but nothing nasty or concerning, just needs reassurance. He is most suited to a confident little jockey / young rider or small adult who is keen to be out doing PC &/or competitions. He is so cute and so much fun!
