Q has professionally schooled and works nicely with the correct guidance. He has been on a number of fun rides and is an enthusiastic/forward going but fun participant. He has also been x country schooled showing promise and is attended “summer camp.
Hunted lightly. Happy to sit anywhere in the field and jumps well. He stands nicely between sets but is keen to get on and do a job.
He ran the Tedworth stirrup cup hunt scurry and was an absolute power- house, hedges, ditches, rails, no problem. He is quick and finished 2nd in his group. He is a snaffle mouth for hunting but requires more breaks for scurry/team chase.
Hacks on the buckle alone or in company, will happily lead youngsters and is never strong or stupid.
Q sustained a superficial injury in July 2020 that subsequently led to stage 2 ulcers which have been treated and scoped clear. Both issues have been cleared by the vets and none prevent him from doing a job. Happy to share vet records.
Q can be pretty sensitive, particularly around his old injury and can pull faces whilst being groomed/girthed. He is fine to shoe and clip but needs someone on the ground when working around his hinds. He travels well on a lorry and has just started to ride in a trailer. Q is easy to do in every other way and happily lives in or out (appropriately rugged) He would prefer a mate/mates to hang out with.
