** Please read carefully ** Nothing is perfect and sometimes all good things come to those who wait and this is the case with our gorgeous Tallie, 15.2hh 11yr old mare. Tallie has had a lot of inconsistency in her work through absolutely no fault of her own or that of her fabulous family since approximately October time but sadly when Tallie came to us here, although was so honest and genuine, we had concerns of her way of going the more we did with her and she was showing reluctancy to go forwards although still trying her heart out. With speaking in depth with her family, we all agreed that we all owed it to her to be looked at and investigated by the vets and got her in with a specialist orthopaedic vet. Tallie was thoroughly examined, having her back X-rayed and investigation into her sacroiliacs. Tallie doesn’t have KS, although you could argue she has one that is very slightly closer but is NOT KS. What was addressed and discovered was her weakness and discomfort in her Sacroiliac joints and she has had both sides medicated which theoretically is a one off medication as well as a one off injection into one area of her back. Tallie lacks and needs to build up her top line so would benefit from lots of ground work and time (I have an exercise plan recommended by the vets and sent to me so happy to share.) Tallie so deserves a chance with someone with time and knowledge who will allow Tallie to flourish and develop good muscle and top line and go from strength to strength as time will be a great healer and someone will have a very nice quality horse who is very well schooled and dressage trained, for a fraction of her worth. Sire; Sezuan The unrivalled winner of his performance test with 987.50 points, Sezuan made history when he obtained a record-breaking result of ten scores of 10.0. His extended walk is noted for its huge overtrack, and the trot is elastic, but it is the canter where Sezuan truly excels; he is super-strong behind, sits well in the half pirouettes and produces very big flying changes; also commenting the canter was ground-covering and uphill something which Kiki has inherited. Dam; St. Pr. St. Kohlmeise Kiki's dam is by the world champion dressage stallion Dimaggio who himself is a huge foundation in top level dressage pedigrees. She also has showjumping horses making her a lovely blend of both worlds. As a 3-year-old Kiki gained a higher first premium being only 0.5 off of elite premium at the futurity evaluations. She also went on to complete ridden grading as a 5 year old and scored a 10 for her canter. Kiki has fantastic paces with plenty of lift and power. She has competed in some unaffiliated dressage at intor/prelim. She absolutely loves to jump and is happily popping around a course of 1.05m fences at home and popping single fences of 1.20m. She has been out to clear round and jumped clear around 90cm. She would be ready to go out and jump easily round a British Novice and progress very quickly this year. We believe she would also be very bold XC She is typical of this breeding and needs a sympathetic rider to get the best out of her. She loves her work and thrives off consistency and routine to get the best results. Kiki's lack of experience is not her fault or a reflection on her ability, current owner is over horsed and has done very little with her. Current owner has had her since a 2-year-old and was purchased direct off the breeder. Belle is a genuine well bred, registered Irish Draught mare that has primarily been a brood mare through her life. She has been broken to ride at some stage in Ireland.
