Leo 14.2 British Riding Pony 17 years old gelding, fully registered with the NPS. Would suit a mother/daughter share, dressage, happy hacker, low level riding club. Fantastic pony so deserves the best and we will be picky ! He has fabulous confirmation and the temperament to match. He’s more kick than go, so if your looking for a speedy pony in the arena he’s not the one for you. He’s full history is known, only had 3 homes. Prior to us having him he was in a 10 year home where they did pony club activities, hunting, fun rides and hacking. Hasn’t hunted with us. He’s been very well loved and looked after, but feel he’s hanging his pony club boots up and ready to find a fun, non competitive long term home. He’s got nothing more to prove He will hack alone and in company (slightly more looky on his own). He’s seen farm machinery, motorbikes, caravans, cyclists, lorries. We live close to the motorway so has motorway bridges to go under. Will also hack on a 60 mph main country road where he’s had cars come past at 80 mph, cars pip horns and has taken that all in his stride. He’s more likely to look or spook at a horse in the hedge rather than any traffic. In the school he turns into a right dressage star. He will work in 3 lovely balanced paces and will work in an outline. He’s more kick than go in this area. He covers the ground lovely and has super flashy paces so can see him doing well in local showing or dressage. He’s well schooled and would label him verging on a schoolmaster. He knows what he’s doing, he won’t appreciate someone hanging off his mouth especially in canter so will tell you if you hold him too tight. Loves his polework and have taken him out to clinics which he’s really enjoyed. He will be happy to pop a jump now and again but ideally looking for a non jumping home for him now he’s slightly older and prefers his flatwork and pole work. Has the odd spook at times, nothing nasty. Typical of the breed Loads and travels well, only seen him in a trailer. Will stable but prefers to live out. He’s a easy going type, a good doer. Lovely 15.1 Connie gelding Alfie. Owned by previous owner for 4 years. We’ve had him a little under a year and in that time he has taken part in a pony club camp, rallies, show jumping course hires and cross country course hires. He is very responsive and has excellent brakes, 3 beautiful paces in the school. He has also done lots of hacking with us. He is very good in open spaces. He is not spooky, happy to go first, middle or last. He is used to all livestock and fine in traffic. Has seen all sorts of farm machinery and doesn’t bat an eye lid. He is barefoot and good for the farrier. Easy to clip, good for the dentist too. Loads well. Very sweet nature, he comes to call. Happy to live in or out. No vices. Genuine reason for sale. Would suit an older child coming off ponies, someone after a low level all rounder or hacking home.

BILLY 17.1hh 7 year old ISH gelding. Billy is a stunning chap, a super character on the ground, and willing under saddle. 🏡Spirit 16hh 7yr old TB is looking for his new best friend 👀 📍 Based in Essex Spirit has been with his current owners just over a year, they bought him straight from racing and within this time a teenage girl has mainly been hacking him. She has taken him on & off roads alone and in company he is not a spooky sort and is very good with all types of traffic. He is never strong and always ridden in a snaffle. We took him to the beach where he went in the water, cantered in a group and alone and left the herd and hacked back by himself. Spirit is the most affectionate loving horse who will stand all day for a fuss, easy to catch from the field. Has been living in a herd however since being on sales livery with me has been in a paddock alone and he does not mind. Walks to and from the field like a large Labrador, easily led around by a 10 year old. He is good to shoe, clip, load, travel and genuinely be around with his bubbly sense of humour. Spirit can school very nicely with three correct paces and works in an outline, he is great with pole work and has popped a little fence where he showed untapped potential. All of this is very easily achieved with a more experienced rider, he is still green in his schooling education however very willing and genuine, not a nasty bone in his body. He can find going into the correct canter lead difficult and has previously thrown in a buck with a less experienced rider, However he has not done it once since being with me. Spirit has very very mild SI changes and a mild kissing spine in one area, he was medicated for this last July with no further treatment needed. Full vet history is known and will be disclosed to any potential buyers and this is reflected in his price. Spirit is open to all vetting & trainers. The right home is of utmost importance as Spirit has so much to offer the right person and really wants to please. Please no time wasters, day dreamers or complete novices. 17hh 9yo Bay thoroughbred mare with exquisite breeding!!  Ridden or broodmare. Kind mare- very sad sale! Sire - Finsceal Fior Gsire - GALILEO Dam - Beseech Gsire -DANEHILL Many big names within this mares pedigree!!  Lara had her first foal end of May 2023, a big beautiful filly!! She is an excellent mum and very easy.  The quality of her filly is outstanding so with her breeding and overall quality would be an asset to any breeding program. She caught first time natural cover and had a text book pregnancy. She is a beautiful mare with the breeding to match!!  She has never raced but was registered as in training so she is ROR eligible. Hacks alone with confident rider (there are monsters everywhere!); first or last with others. Believe hunted in Ireland. Passed 5* vet 2 years ago, no reason to think he wouldn't again. Very affectionate boy, loves attention. 5* home only. Negatives - needs a fly mask/nose net as sensitive to flies. He doesn’t like to be last out in the field as he will pace and call. Unfit as not done much all winter.
