Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Physiotherapy

Senior Lecturer - £38,460 per annum
Full-time, 37 hours per week (1.0FTE)
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer skilled within the field of Veterinary Physiotherapy. You will be working with a group of specialist lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching to both undergraduates and postgraduates. Within this role, you will be required to design, implement, develop and lead modules using innovative and creative methods of delivery, assessment and feedback.
In addition, you will be expected to plan, undertake, support and disseminate research, scholarship and related activities along with supervising dissertation projects. It will be essential to have industry experience, and an advantage to have research experience and knowledge of course design and delivery and both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The ability to deliver clinical sessions and supervise and assess student projects and dissertations is an important component of this role. In addition, a senior lecturer will be expected to contribute to aspects of course leadership and development. The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team is important, and up to date technical knowledge is essential.
Ideally, you will have a good first degree or equivalent and will hold an MSc (L) or PhD (SL) in a related discipline, or be able to demonstrate the equivalent through experience. Eligibility to practice as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, or equivalent, is essential. Appointment will be made at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level dependent on experience.
