We have a vacancy for a yard groom at Hall Farm which is located in the village of Snetterton.
The main aim of this role is to support our rehabilitation staff by carrying out a range of essential yard duties. A typical day will include mucking out, strawing up crew yards, filling haynets along with general paddock/yard upkeep. You will be expected to work to a high standard ensuring all yard, stable, crew yards and paddocks are kept clean and tidy at all times.
You must be motivated, have a positive attitude and be willing to work irregular hours and outside in all weather conditions. There may also be an opportunity to observe our rehabilitation staff as you assist them with the daily management of the horses in their care.
The ability to drive a range of farm machinery and/or equine experience would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given.
A sense of humour with good communication and interpersonal skills are also useful when having to deal with members of the general public.
Free shared on-site accommodation is available.
