Description

Are you an experienced rider/ trainer with established skills in ground work, longlining, backing and riding away a range of horses and ponies ?  Our equines can come from challenging or unknown backgrounds so experience of a range of empathetic training methods and problem solving skills are essential.

You will work as part of a small team to cover the routine care and training of around 30 horses and ponies.   Development and support to our intermediate and novice trainers is required so excellent communication and mentoring skills are required. 

The majority of the equines you will be training and riding will range from 13hh to 15hh. 

This role is temporary for up to 12 months whilst the substantive postholder is on maternity leave.

The closing date is 25 August 2019, with interviews anticipated to take place on 29 August or 2 September 2019. 

The salary is £10.93 - £12.18 per hour and comes with an attractive benefits package. 

The hours of work are 37.5 per week.
