A leading riding club in Singapore with approx 100 stables split between private livery and riding school is recruiting a General Manager.
The General Manager will oversee all departments of the club including horse care and stable management, riding school and livery, staffing and performance management, membership, finances, events, business development, and the club charity. He or she will be assisted by a strong management team. The main aim is to grow and develop riding in the livery and riding section with improved revenue and profit as the outcome. The General Manager will be responsible for the daily operations and financial performance against budget of the Club and will report to a management committee on a monthly basis.
Qualities and Characteristics:
The applicant needs to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to make sound decisions readily. Experience in club or business management is essential and a knowledge of horse care and stable management is required. An ability to work with a talented and diverse team is important as well as a sympathetic understanding of working in a multi-cultural environment are necessary.
The position requires a minimum 2-year contract and a competitive remuneration package is being offered.
