Princess is a brilliant hack, with company or alone, she’s super with the big heavy vehicles and chaotic environments and always remains in a snaffle. She has three nice paces on the flat, comfortable and a leg on, easy ride, never sharp silly or spooky.

She has been a very easy and Prolific brood mare having had 8 lovely foals, among them being the extremely quiet natured Irish Draught stallion Hayestown Blue Castana who has passed on her wonderful temperament to well over 20 foals bred by him at the stud, and 2 at Underhill.

Lady Darcy is a beautiful ISH Dark Bay mare standing at 15.2hh. 12yr in June.
Darcy is an experienced allrounder / school mistress and would make an excellent riding club / competition / family horse / someone coming off Pony’s.
A showjumping and XC machine.
Soft in the mouth and ridden in a snaffle. Shes done a bit of everything, including hunting, showing, BE, SJ, Arena Eventing, beach rides etc she is genuine horse with a lot to give.
Three lovely rideable and adjustable paces on the flat. She loves to Show jump and XC and is great with a confident rider she is a point and shoot type. Very willing and brave and great in open spaces. We are currently jumping her 90/95 as owner didn’t want to jump bigger but she has scope and will jump of any stride.
Easy to do in all ways. Great with dentist, farrier, vet etc
Loads on trailer, small and big lorries and travels like a dream.
She has taken current owner out to her first XC training, Hunter trial and show jumping clear rounds and competitions.
Been with owner for the last 18 months. Was bought as a first horse to sell on when ready to get the next one and she has been great.
However her only vice is she doesn’t always like to hack alone (can get anxious). She is more confident with other horses. Good with all traffic but I believe she will prefer off-road hacking which we have minimal off at our yard. Never been fussed by, lorries, horse and cart, bikes, motorbikes, dog walkers etc.
She is a to the point horse but not a novice ride.

Bomba Buster
Real contender for this years grassroots classes. Already got his double clears for the regional qualifiers this summer.
He is the straightest horse you’ll find round a cross country course. With endless scope, bravery and ability, you literally just steer him round. With the right rider he’ll easily go 2 star. But straight and easy enough for an amateur teenager.
Exceptional breeding including Cornet Obolensky, Balou du rouet and Secretariat.
When he finishes his XC he feels as if he’d do it all again!
Buster does a beautiful dressage test, working at elementary level at the moment. Plenty of ability to go much further. He has been on podium position 3 times at the Scottish dressage championships and selected twice to represent Scotland at the Home Nations and Inter Regionals. He’s always scoring late 60s to late 70s.
Our first try at working hunter he was the Winner of the working hunter Open class, then went on to be overall Champion at Ayr County Show last year.
He is fantastic out hacking in the heaviest of traffic on his own or with others. Superb nature in the stable, a real sweetheart. Stands like a lamb to be clipped and shod. Good to catch, call his name once and he’s at the gate. Great around dogs and other horses.
He has a couple of withdrawals in his record from when I was in hospital for surgery.
He isn’t an out and out show jumper but you’ll be hard pushed to find a nicer eventer or dressage horse.
Only for sale as I’m too busy with other commitments. Therefore all his tack etc can be sold by separate negotiations.
He does have a small sarcoid on his tummy, no where near his girth or sheath. The vet has looked at it and can easily be removed with Liverpool cream. This is reflected in his price. It just wasn’t something that bothered me.
I’ve owned Buster for 2 years and can honestly say there isn’t a bad bone in his body. He’s fit and ready for someone to go and have fun on this season.
