Proven competition pony

Tronto is a rising 16yo been there and done it competition pony. There’s not much he hasn’t done and done well at. He is a forward going pony so needs a competent jockey that is used to forward ponies. Tom has many wins to his name and qualifications to name a few - - Won the 80cm KBIS SEG ODE National League 2021 and 2022 - NSEA 3D Eventing Championships at Moreton Sept 2022 including roads and tracks – winning team - Qualified for NSEA Showjumping and Eventing at Hickstead 2020, 2021 and 2022 - Tetrathlon National Championships at Offchurch 2021 and 2022 - Qualified for Trailblazers Show Jumping Championships 2020, 2021 - Pony Club Showjumping Championships 2020 and 2021 - Pony Club Area Dressage 2020 - 2-day eventing at Princethorpe 2021 including roads and tracks - Passed the PRA pony racing training 2021 and 2022 Has sadly been out grown so missed most of last year due to no rider. He goes well on the flat, but it’s not his favourite thing. He is a fantastic jumping pony and jumps for fun, turns on a sixpence and is super fast against the clock. Not spooky at any type of showjump or cross country fences. He has hunted within the pony club. Done all pony club activities inc. camps, rallies, over night shows etc etc. He is a wonderful hack, hacks alone and in company, through open fields and in heavy traffic very well. You can ride and lead from him. He is easy and straightforward to do anything with, catch, box, shoe, clip etc. Wonderful temperament and lovely to do in the stable. He has no known vices. Up to date with everything. Based near Badminton on sales livery.

Fun Child’s pony 12.1h

Bella loves hacking - she is super safe in traffic and good in open spaces and the beach. She is good on the lead rein and safe off the lead rein for a novice child with supervision in a lesson but she is not a general first ridden pony for a child who lacks confidence as Bella needs to know who's in charge. She is really good for a confident rider who wants to do a bit of everything - Bella likes variety in her work. Snaffle mouthed and barefoot. Good to groom, bath and clip. Really good do-er. Loads into a lorry easily. I haven't tried her on a trailer but I don't imagine she would have any problems. Good for farrier. Up to date with teeth and jabs. Lives in or out. I bought Bella to teach my grandchildren to ride - she has been great on the lead rein and lunge line, both in the school and hacking out but is not so easy for the grandchildren to progress off the lead rein. She can put in an excited buck in transitions and will just walk to me in the centre of the school if she decides the lesson has finished! With a competent rider she tries hard and focuses on the job! I have a 12 year old loaner who has fun with her. I would say she is a 1.5 pony off the lead rein. Bella was quite unfit and fat when we got her and we have worked her steadily to get her fitter. Bella has a newly fitted Native Pony Saddle Company saddle. All her tack and rugs are available for a separate price. Based in Titchfield, Fareham, Hampshire

Striking Chestnut Sweetheart

Sandbank Gamebird 12.2hh with LHC, beautiful chestnut British Riding Pony 13yo, 'Pip' has been my daughter's very best friend for the last 3 1/2 years. He's a very gentle soul who, at some time of his life has obviously had a hard time from an adult so can be shy until he gets to know you (if you're a child, then he loves you immediately). He's been a wonderful ride for Charlie and is beautifully schooled and continues under tuition of professional instructors on a weekly basis. Pip was previously produced and shown at county level and at RI. He is from excellent showing lines and is always in the ribbons. Pip has had a varied life with us, doing a little bit of everything. He produces a really lovely dressage test and would likely enjoy jumping. He hasn't done much of this though as my daughter isn't the boldest rider, and prefers 4 feet on the floor. That said, he is always very willing and would likely thrive with a jump loving jockey, once he's been reminded of the ropes. He makes the ideal first ridden prospect and looks after his jockey. He has been to the beach, moors, across farmland, and is regularly hacked and proving reliable in looking after our girls. He lives on a busy livery yard and is well versed in life with farm machinery, tractors, livestock, bikes, scooters and my youngest (non-riding) daughter's constant games of football under his feet. Pip is up-to-date with his teeth, farrier, vaccinations and has regularly seen by the osteopath and cranial osteopath to keep him tip-top. He is brilliant for the farrier (barefoot, with sound, solid feet) and vet. He's perfect to groom, clip and loads without hesitation. He is a very dear boy who is very sadly outgrown but far too special to be an ornamental lawnmower. Please no photo collectors or joyriders. only the very best of homes (with references) will be considered. Experienced homes only. SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY, PLEASE NO MORE TIMEWASTERS. Full wardrobe included and excellent quality tack available by negotiation. DEVON

Masses of Potential

Oreo is a 14h, rising 9yo, Gelding. Oreo is a pleasure to have around, a sweet easy chap who thrives off routine and wants to please! Oreo has been within the same family for the past few years. During this time, he has been a real pleasure horse for his owner, working in the field, hacking and having fun. He throughly enjoys work, is snaffle mouthed at all times and responsive off the leg. Oreo has been used at a low level due to his owners time, facilities and school commitments which means he has plenty left to learn and do. With consistent riding, Oreo will work in the arena with no fuss but can be a bit argumentative, if he is picked up and put down. He will pop fences and enjoys doing so, hack out and do basic schooling, due to his breed (standardbred) he struggles to maintain canter but with work and time, does understand. He is a low milage horse with plenty to give. Oreo is easy to do in all ways, will live in or out, easy to catch, easy to handle. But can get upset with drastic changes in routine or like most horses, if he is left alone. He is up to date with his vaccinations, worming and farrier. Oreo has been sensibly priced in mind that he is low level, can be kept this way but has the potential to be produced for more. Could be a lovely spring / summer project to have a lot of fun with. Oreo comes with a selection of rugs, bridle and saddle! No expense has been spared in his management, a very sad sale to see him move on and thrive. Based on Sales Livery in Worcester, West Midlands. NO joy riders or time wasters. Pictures and videos available on request.
