Dora - 12hh (although passport says 12.2hh Excellent around children, my daughter can do pretty much everything with her and she just follows her like a Labrador. Good to catch, farrier, needs sedation for clipping. Selling her as a happy hack first ridden as this is where she is happiest - never puts a foot wrong, not at all spooky, forward going but with excellent brakes. She will do pony club etc but hacking is where she’s happiest, she can be a bit more forward at pony club and would need a more confident child or lead rein, although she has done it all with previous homes as a first ridden but not for my nervous daughter. I’ve always learnt you get what you pay for. This mare is fantastic, why you wonder are you selling her? Because I don’t have time for her, and I’m getting too old to do her any justice. Never seen her have a season! Non of this squirting or tail waving She is FORWARD not a plod so if beginner she’s not your thing …. She is the ultimate horse for a competent rider, she absolutely loves jumping, poles, xc, camps, hacking, anything you out her to she will do. Recently come back into work April this year after having some time off from winter last year. Betsy has 3 correct expressive paces. Has been hacking around open fields on her own and in company. She’s recently been to Swallowfields for arena hire and flatwork lessons. Betsy has been over poles and been over a small jump with ease. Good to travel, load, farrier and vet. Up to date with vacc, teeth and wormer. Sad sale as I’m cutting down. Home is priority. Not novice ride. Would be suitable for someone who is experienced with young horses to further her education whether that be dressage or jumping.

She’s forgiving, however she will teach a child they can’t always just be a passenger, she will make a child pay for their mistakes if they make the same ones too often . She’s a bit more push than pull and happy to step up or down. She’s fab on lead rein, with a capableish littl’n would be a real contender in nursery or open WHP etc. Can fly round a 75cm SJ with ease too. Jumps bigger at home. Good scores and wins prelim dressage with list one judge and novice rider on top. Never affiliated BS or BD as we’re on a small island. She placed well showing in varied classes here with many wins and champs as SHP, WHP and M&M. Both ridden and in hand. She had a good placing and highest conformation marks against HOYS ponies on our only venture “abroad” both on the flat in WHP. Misty hacks, fancy dress, beach, swims , traffic proof, bin bag proof, dog proof and hunted in previous home. Tacked up, rugged , groomed, bought in, put out, loaded etc by kids. Never Mareish. 🧸 Yogi Bear 🧸 15.1h 3yrs Dun Connemara Showing huge potential! Yogi is super easy on the ground, very loving and cuddly, loves a fuss and will stand and be pampered for hours. He has a lovely kind willing personality and wants to please and be everyone’s friend, other horses and people. He is Long reining confidently in the school and hacking, has a nice soft mouth, and works well off the voice. Has been for walks in the woods and is not spooky, has met walkers and cyclists and is not phased, he loves exploring. He has 3 lovely balanced paces, Lightly backed by my 17yr old daughter and is a quick learner. He is happy under saddle in walk, trot and canter and is nicely forward with good brakes. He is showing huge potential over a jump. Not phased by fillers and is super bold and scopey. He has had a great start to life and has a lovely attitude to work.
