Quality Connemara x Arab pony looking for his next home. Originally purchased from Dartmoor sales at 4 months old Bracken has remained under the same ownership so full history known. He has been trained in liberty on the ground and has now been professionally backed using natural horsemanship methods. He is currently continuing his education with me and has proved to be very clever with a great attitude towards work. He is hacking out alone and in company on busy roads and in fields, begun jumping under saddle and now happily popping around a small course and has seen xc fences. He is sure to make a top PC/RC all-rounder. Due to his age and education level he is green so not suitable for a complete novice.

Pippa is a stunning horse who has an excellent temperament and is well mannered in all environments. She enjoys being fussed with and groomed and has a genuinely lovely nature. She is well schooled and enjoys her exercise, she has good paces and is not strong to school at all. Equally, she is not a lazy horse, she is forward going but needs telling to do things (she is a mare, if you don’t tell you don’t get!). She is never nasty or malicious. She can be spooky in new environments, but she eventually becomes braver once trust with rider is built. She just needs to know you’ve got her back. She is a thoroughly enjoyable hack, she will lead and follow, on roads and in open fields. She is used to cows, sheep and farm machinery etc. and is not fazed! She is not to be mistaken as a dope on a rope as she can be a bit sharp at times and requires a firm rider, despite this she is never dangerous or scary. Unfortunately she cannot jump anymore, this is reflected in her price and I am happy to discuss this. She would be best spent as a local dressage, showing and hacking horse (or any other flatwork related event you can think of - she will do it!). She always scores high in dressage and has competed in national pony club championships, so she has potential in this field to go further with extra training. She has also done some showing too which, didn’t faze her and, again, she places high in. Overall she is an absolute dream horse, and deserve a 5* home. She is being sadly sold, as I can’t give her the time she deserves. She would best suit a competent rider who is looking for a long term partner. She would be best matched with a competent rider who can give her the reassurance and love she deserves. No novices please. Roxy 4yr old 15’2h mare, by O-Piloth Roxy is a genuine, smart 4 yr old with a super attitude to her work. We backed Roxy as a 3yr old and she was turned away for the winter. She has always had a lovely temperament and wants to please. Roxy loves being fussed on the ground, she will stand and be pampered, bathed and fussed. On the flat she has 3 flashy paces, works in a natural outline and moves nicely. She loves her jumping and is bold to a fence, not phased by fillers and takes you into a jump. We uave been out schooling and she is ready to start jumping around courses. We’ve taken her XC schooling and she jumped everything asked of her, water, ditches, logs etc. Roxy has the potential to be an eventer, showjumper or all rounder. She is well established for her age and is ready to get out there and have fun for the summer! Great to be clipped, farrier etc No lumps, bumps, sarcoids. She is clean and correct. JJ- KILLEA ACTION IDx Rising 8yr old (2017) grey gelding by KILLEA HILL VIEW ID Sad sale of a much loved family horse, super temperament he wants to be loved and is happy to be in your company. Good to shoe, bath, catch etc and to clip him he’s a complete saint. He lives in or out, on his own or in company. He’s a well put together handsome chap, he’s even done a bit of modelling work for a well known brand 🤩 Flatwork JJ is very well schooled and is comfortably working at elementary at home, he has established basic lateral work. He’s competed in unaffiliated events and always scores in the high 60’s/70%. He’s also taken part in drill rides and riding club events, behaves well around other horses. Jumping he’s been out and competed in low level ODE events, fun rides etc. However, he has serious potential for SJ or eventing. He’s super careful and brave he doesn’t want to touch a pole. Whilst on sales livery we feel that this is what he would be best suited to. When schooling him he just pings a 120 fence with scope for bigger tracks, he enjoys jumping and wants to please you. In a short space of time this horses confidence has grown. I can only imagine what 6months of experience would do for him. His gallop just eats the ground up and he’s just as brave on grass over an xc fence. JJ has been hunted a few outings over in Ireland where he was mannerly. He will hack out alone or in company, has done fun rides he’s keen to get on with the job but not silly in open spaces. He’s been well looked after- up to date with teeth, physio and vacs. No vices or quirks. He is not suitable for a novice he’s a competition horse with a good brain. He wants a job, he enjoys working and having variety. He’d be a brilliant RC type or eventer he’s a very capable horse in all disciplines. He’s quickly become a yard favourite and it’s a pleasure to have him on sales Livery. Someone will be super lucky to have him and with the right rider this horse could easily go 2* BE and have the potential for more.
