She absolutely thrives off this lifestyle and is so happy. She will also need a home where she can be turned out even in winter as at our yard I can’t and although she has been no problem to keep in and has lived in quite happily the lifestyle I can tell isn’t one for her as her face lit up when she was turned out for the first time in 3 months! Willow is a forward ride, she is enthusiastic, she likes speed and is responsive to aids too. Willow is ridden in a snaffle for everything. Willow isn’t for a novice she needs a home where she will managed properly and taken to competitions she is definitely a competition pony! she is a lovely mare but is a mare and if she sees an opportunity she will take it. Willow has learnt so much with me and learnt so many manners and is now a civilised pony who deserves the every best home to use her talent. Willow hasn’t got a mean bone in her body she is so loving and adores a bum scratch. She lives with my 2 other mares and my 2 other geldings so is happy in a mixed group. She’s amazing to clip, I clip her legs with big clippers and not bothered, she’s good with vet, farrier, grooming, loading, the maintenance things horses need if I’ve forgotten anything. Willow is up to date with everything and is fit and ready to go. I will miss her greatly she’s been such fun and reminds me of my gelding who is my showjumper. Handsome stamp of a horse who with more work could do well in show jumping, eventing or dressage, or just a smart hack or hunter. Percy is a big Irish horse who is still very green and needs more confidence when out and about. I have taken him to unaffiliated SJ, hunter trials, combined training, camps, clinics and he has seen hounds. He is very happy to hack alone or with company and good to stand for gates. 100% in traffic and I have led a pony off him very happily. He is rising 7 (July) and is snaffle mouthed. Lack of arena and my time forces sale. He is up to date with jabs and has just been shod and had his back checked. He is fit and ready for someone to go and do things with him and have fun through the summer. He happily lives out or in. He comes with bridle and rugs and I have a lovely close contact jump saddle fitted to him also available. He has a small sarcoid on his sheath, that doesn’t effect him, hence the price. She has low competition mileage due to no fault of her own but is now training at medium level ready to go out and also has a green flying change each way. One very special boy with lots to give, 3 lovely balanced rhythmical paces and a bold brave jump, quite spectacular for an Egyptian Arab! He is forward going but not strong. Jaffa 12yo 16.1hh stunning mare. (Ginsberg x Laptop) This is a very sad sale that I have been putting off for the last year, but due to me being unable to ride for the last 2 years and now work commitments, lack of time forces me to do so as Jaffa is just being wasted. She is currently in work, fit and ready to go. Jaffa has hunted 2 full seasons with the Brocklesby and visited the Cottesmore , Bicester and Readyfield bloodhounds when she was younger and recently hunted out with the Lauderdale bloodhounds. She is more suited to a forward going pack. Jaffa later on in her career found a passion for showjumping and on the BS circuit successfully jumping up to Newcomers, dc. Winning at BN and Discovery level in big classes and has any amount of scope for bigger classes. She is a serious bronze league horse! Sadly no sooner had I started jumping her I took an injury which stopped me riding. She hacks out alone or in company in the heaviest of traffic. She can be a little unsure when alone but nothing nasty just needs gentle encouragement to be pushed forward. Good to clip, box, shoe etc and for a chesnut mare she’s the easiest and sweetest horse to handle on the ground. Won a BE90 when she was younger and recently competed XC being placed 4th and placings at local SJ competitions. Jaffa has low milage and exceptionally clean legs. She is not a novice ride as can be sensitive needs a confident, forward but quiet rider. And in return gives you an amazing ride and feels like she can jump the moon. I’m gutted I can no longer continue our journey together. Jaffa has been treated for ulcers but is now all clear and she is back to flying high. Lots of pics and vids available.
