Rebel Mountain x Crusing-Great Eventer Potential

Rebel Mountain x Cruising gelding. Lovely big young horse, low mileage ready for you to put your own stamp on. Rufus would make a fantastic winter project for someone experienced in bringing on young competition horses. He’s done enough to prove he’s got the right brain and attitude but hasn’t been rushed at all. He’s been ridden by a petite lady rider this year and has been to multiple arena hires and lessons. He’s very well behaved out and about, easy enough for you to take on your own. On the flat he is balanced and has a lot of scope within his stride and will have the ability to work at a much more advanced level with time and correct training. He’s started lateral work and has a very willing and trainable attitude. He’s bold and careful over a fence and isn’t phased by any fillers. He hasn’t been pushed in his jumping whilst being ridden but shows real promise and has a good natural scopey jump when loose jumping. He hasn’t yet been xc schooling but happily goes through water and pops a small ditch whilst out hacking. He enjoys his hacking and is polite and manerly. He’s happy to go on his own but would say he’s more confident in company as he hasn’t done a lot of it. Saying that he is very good in traffic! He’s very kind and exceptionally well behaved, very easy to do in all aspects on the ground, loading, farrier and at arena hires etc. He is big and rangy and still weak in places but with time and the right training he will be a really talented horse. One that would be suited to a range of jobs, eventing, show jumping, hunting. He does have a brain and is switched on so he does need a home where he will have a job. He’s definitely more suited to a competition home, competent amateur or professional. He still is green and needs educating correctly therefore he is not for a novice or nervous rider. He’d be a good buy for an experienced person to produce into a real quality horse for any job. Open to sensible offers Open to vettings Based Gainsborough, Lincolnshire Please WhatsApp for videos

Fantastic pony club & hunting pony

Railway Johnny. Johnny is a 12h, 13 years old handsome Irish Gelding He has been with the family for 3 years taking our daughter from 6 years up to 9.5years. He’s up to date with teeth, worming and vacs He is a really sweet boy, always loves being around people. He has three lovely steady paces and never rushes into jumps. He’s balanced and has control, but has got gears as the children get older and want to find them. He has done all pony club activities including residential camps and has competed for school equestrian team in dressage and showjumping. My daughter is jumping up to 50 and he jumps those comfortably and has worked up to those from poles on the floor. She has won many rosettes on him! Johnny loves hunting and has been many times with my daughter from a 6 year old on the lead rein, to hunting on her own with the rest of the field. He is brilliant in open spaces. My daughter can canter him around the field easily and he has good breaks. He loves fun rides and doesn’t get strong or fizzy. He hacks on his own happily and in company. Great in traffic. We live on a busy farm so he’s used to all animals. Cows, sheep, dogs and all farm Machinery and traffic- he’s seen it all with us. He’s not sharp or spooky and has given my daughter so much confidence from a 6 year old just learning to ride to the keen young equestrian she is today. Johnny is a joy to have around and is now looking for a new loving family home to have some fun. Lots of photos and videos available on request (07947644847) Price includes all tack and rugs.

Showjumping schoolmaster

16.1hh 17yo Belgium warmblood. Fantastic breeding Darco X Ramiro. Showjumping school master. Chip loves showjumping and being at shows. Jumped up to newcomers, schooling up to 1m25 and has jumped 1m55 as an individual fence. BS name: Hamilton van Overis. He doesn't get offended by a miss etc. He is fantastic at turns, will turn up to any fence. Low points currently 203points and £389 in winnings, still in discovery due to owners health issues. Chip is fit and sound, has no joint injections/ injuries or health issues. There is no reason why he couldn’t step up and jump foxhunters with an ambitious rider. Chip has done XC and arena eventing schooling up to 1m, jumping everything asked. Chip is a rhythmical horse to ride, not hot. He keeps a nice consistent rhythm in to the fence. Regularly taken out by just myself without help. Will happily jump a newcomers one day and then have a friend on him learning to jump the next. He’s been borrowed by a petite 14yo for a couple of pony club rallies, behaving beautifully, doing rallies both in an arena and an open field. He has also been arena event training with a 14yo jockey giving them lots of confidence. Well schooled on the flat, lovely paces, knows leg yield, shoulder in, flying changes, walk to canters etc. Rides in a beautiful outline. Good to hack, hacks alone and in company. Good in open spaces and on the road. Can be a little spooky but no more than a typical warmblood. Can put in an excited buck when cantering in open spaces if not done it in a while. He is hacked out regularly by my friends who are very much novice (riding school level) riders. Great at beach rides, he loves it! Will happily stand and pose in the sea all day, go for a swim and canter on the sand. Low milage due to my own (owner) health issues. Been owned by myself for the past 10 years. This is a very sad sale, but unfortunately worsening health issues mean I must cut down on my own horses. Good to load, box, shoe, clip etc. Chip loves attention and fuss. Lots of character as was gelded just before I got him. Turns out fine with both mares and geldings. Can sometimes put a buck in when fresh, like most competition horses.

Superb temperament leisure/hacking/hunting/broodmare

On behalf of client: Approx 16.2hh, dapple grey ID 5yo mare. Leisure/hacking/hunting/broodmare (with the potential for more with further production). Tilly is a classy project horse for someone looking to put in their time rather than money into a quality horse. Due to her size and low-mileage she is proving unbalanced on a tight turn, we have experienced a subtle asymmetry on circles in the school which could limit her future as a competition horse. Please note: she has had a lameness work up and Osteopathic assessment to address her suitability as competition horse, both parties' findings were insignificant and suggested she just needs time to mature into her body with straight line & hill work. Tilly is sound on all flexion tests and in a straight line, but at this point only time will tell whether she will be up to a higher calibre role in the future. She is open to vetting. Despite this Tilly loves her hacking so she would suit a leisure/hacking/hunting home as she is currently. She would also make an excellent broodmare with class 1 lineage including Killcrenmon Gold and Pennmerryls Rhythm and Blues lines. Tilly is everything that you'd expect from an Irish Draught. She boasts 9" of bone, a broad chest and shoulders, a deep girth and a leg on each corner. She really is an exquisite stamp of the breed. She has a real presence about her with a fine, pretty face and loveable nature. Tilly has undergone extensive groundwork and she is a dream to work in-hand. She is established working laterally from the ground, she is polite and receptive to her handler. Tilly thrives off attention, she has a very trainable attitude and really wants to learn. She is acquainted with poles and small fences and could be further produced to jump once full physical maturity has been reached. Due to a slump in the market we are offering Tilly as more of a blank canvas rather than 'the final product' - purely due to a higher demand for project horses in the current economic climate. Tilly has a very low mileage for a 5yo, she was broken and produced very lightly before being purchased by her current owners (May 2023) who have spent the majority of their time getting to know her from the ground due to a combination of lack of time and experience with young horses hence the reason for looking for a new home for her (no fault of Tilly's). She is excellent to mount and safe and reliable to hack in company, she will hack alone with a confident rider that will push her through any hesitations leaving home. She is excellent in traffic. Tilly has been out on hound exercise once in the 23/24 season and proved level-headed , she will be taken out with the hounds on 10th Nov to further prove her reliability as a hunter. Tilly is good to do on the ground, she leads well with other horses and has settled within a mixed herd but she will also turn out by herself (with others nearby). She is good to bath, groom, clip, load, catch, for vet/dentist/farrier (currently barefoot with very good feet). A good home is a must for this much loved girl. Tack and wardrobe available by separate negotiation. Offers considered.

Stunning Palomino Cob

Cash is a well mannered cob with plenty of bone. To ride he is fun, safe & sensible without being a complete kick along. He is excellent to hack, first or last, fantastic in traffic, alone and in company. Cash is great in open spaces, doesn’t get strong, he is ridden in a snaffle here at home. Will stand in the middle of a field whilst other horses work around him. Happily jumps whatever you ask him to, not silly or spooky. Enjoys his schooling work. Doesn’t mind you hanging off the side of him to do gates, happily lets you jump on and off him as many times as you might need to. Great around farm animals and machinery as he is currently based on a working farm. Cash is low mileage for his age, broken and produced as a 4/5yo, did some showing and general riding but has since mainly been driven, this is something he has an absolute wealth of experience in. More recently he has been XC schooling, proving ever so honest and fun, jumping everything we asked of him. He has also been to a busy sponsored ride, very sensible with lots going on around him, happily followed along in our little group, stood for a halfway drinks pit stop, didn’t mind lots of horses cantering off in front of him. Cash has had nervous riders hacking him, riding in open space, been ridden by a 11yo girl on the roads and open spaces, he really looks after whoever is on board. Cash is a lovely chap to have on the yard, great manners, no vices, he only wants to please. Good to shoe, bath, catch, teeth, load and travel. Nervous to clip but doesn’t mind my smaller, quieter clippers as much, requires a twitch for his legs and a confident clipper. Upto date with his teeth. He would make a fantastic mum/ daughter share, confident child’s pc pony, small adult, hunting cob, allrounder, family pony. Cash is a really handy horse to have around, always puts a smile on his riders face.
