Topthorn Skylark by Jigilo (Jumbo). An exceptional homebred competition mare already showing huge potential. Sky has had the same home since birth and has benefited from a careful and measured approach to her education, which has prepared her to excel in any sphere. Professionally backed in March 2023, Sky has been beautifully educated on the flat. She has naturally loose, expressive paces, a soft mouth and a huge canter. On her first intro dressage outing at Somerford, Sky excelled, winning both classes on 67%+. Since then, she has gone on to compete in Prelim and Novice tests, coming 2nd and 3rd with scores of 72% and 65%. Skye's flatwork education continues and we are currently developing her lateral work and flying change. Sky has very successfully competed in Showjumping and Combined Training, competently jumping round a course of 95cm. She is extremely bold to a fence and doesn't bat an eyelid at fillers or a large atmosphere. She has been XC schooling multiple times is comfortable with water, ditches and steps. Sky makes a beautiful shape over a jump and will excel as an event horse or showjumper. Sky hacks alone and in company and is mannerly in open spaces. She is a bold, forward thinking mare but sensible too. She is a great traveller and easy to do at shows and at home. Sky is currently available to view at livery whilst my daughter combines university studies with educating this fabulous young horse. Sad sale due to growing university pressures. Sky has no lumps or bumps and is up to date on her vaccines with no medical history. She has physio regularly and is fit and ready to go. Open to any vet.
